Early this month, our doctoral candidate, Mr. Lazaros Liatsas from Nearby Computing began his second three-month secondment at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center in Spain, under the supervision of Dr. Angelos Antonopoulos and Dr. Elli Kartsakli.
During his stay, Lazaros will focus on defining state-of-the-art scenarios where agentic and explainable AI can be applied to edge orchestration in ultra-low-latency healthcare applications.
He will also benefit from close collaboration with Mr. Danial Shafaie, another doctoral candidate from elixirion, as well as from BSCās world-class expertise in distributed and high-performance computing.
