Mrs. Upaangana Das on her 1st secondment at Amsterdam UMC

We are delighted to announce that our doctoral candidate, Mrs. Upaangana Das from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, has commenced her first three-month secondment at Amsterdam UMC, the Netherlands, under the supervision of Prof. Henk Marquering and Prof. Amalia Miliou.

During her stay, Upaangana will focus on incorporating the requirements of acute-care analytics into the design of the developed TN–NTN solutions, including communication/ computation co-optimization, edge workload placement, and QoS-aware orchestration for critical healthcare applications.

We wish Upaangana a productive, enriching, and successful secondment!

Mr. Alejandro Flores started his first secondment at MSC Data Labs

👏 Congratulations to Xavier Alejandro Flores Cabezas from University of Luxembourg on the start of his first secondment within the ELIXIRION project!

Hosted by MCS Data Labs GmbH in Berlin, Alejandro has already made a strong start by presenting his PhD research to employees at the host institution.

By sharing his research, exchanging ideas with colleagues at MCS, and receiving valuable feedback from Professor Dr. Holger Schlingloff, Alejandro is contributing to the open exchange of knowledge that drives innovation.

We are proud to see our doctoral candidates actively engaging with their host institutions from the very beginning of their secondments!
