ELIXIRION Complementary Courses 5 & 6 | Day 4

We are proud to announce the successful completion of ELIXIRION Complementary Courses 5 & 6, held in Orange Polska, marking another important milestone in our commitment to advancing knowledge!

We were honored to host distinguished experts, including Dr. Kornilia Vikelidou and Dr. Giorgos D. Pallas from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), as well as Dr. Konstantinos Limniotis from the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Their lectures provided valuable insights into GDPR and European data protection legislation, with particular emphasis on emerging privacy challenges highlighted during the pandemic.

Additionally, we were pleased to welcome Mr. Sylweriusz Koprowski, who presented the augmented reality equipment of the Orange Polska 5G Lab, offering our doctoral candidates a hands-on perspective on cutting-edge 5G and immersive technologies.

A big thank you to Dr. Lechosław Tomaszewski for his excellent organization and dedication, which were instrumental in making these complementary courses a success.

🎯 Day 3 of the complementary courses organized by the ELIXIRION Project at Orange Polska!

Yesterday marked the first day of this exciting training series.

Today’s sessions focused on one of the most critical pillars of modern research and innovation: effective data management and sharing.

Dr. Dimitris Panopoulos delivered an insightful lecture on Data Management & Sharing, highlighting the key benefits for researchers.

This was followed by a session from Ms. Agnieszka Cybulska-Phelan (UW), who introduced participants to the fundamentals and importance of a Data Management Plan (DMP), providing practical guidance on how to properly organize, document, and safeguard research data.

📦 In addition, participants had the opportunity to experience innovation in practice through a live demonstration of the Orange Polska SmartStore solution. Mr. Wojciech Niewolski from Orange Polska presented the concept ,offering a hands-on look at how advanced retail technologies are transforming customer experiences.

Yesterday marked the first day of this exciting training series.

We had the pleasure of once again welcoming Dr Antonis Livieratos and Mr. Vasilis Siemos from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Archimedes NKUA Center for Technology Transfer and Business Acceleration.

These sessions focused on key aspects of market exploitation and business plan development, providing participants with practical guidance on how to strategically position their innovations for real-world impact.

In addition, the introduction of case studies showcased inspiring examples of how original ideas can successfully evolve into sustainable businesses.
